Delivery & Returns


General Delivery Information:

  • Standard Delivery is FREE to UK Mainland* - See exceptions below, these include Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Ireland and surrounding Islands (isle of wight, isle of man, jersey islands etc)
  • Please provide a contact phone number when ordering – in case we or the couriers need to get in touch.
  • All orders will be dispatched based on when ordered (see each product for cut off time).
  • Chairs, Desks and Furniture ordered on a next day service and ordered before the cut off time will be delivered the next working day, Monday - Friday. (requires a signature) 
  • Standard Delivery is FREE on all items, on some items you can upgrade your delivery to be faster or have your chair/furniture, built/installed for a specified fee. 
  • Certain orders may be sent on curb side pallets to ensure they arrive safely, we will always try our best arrange this with your first. 
  • Deliveries are made between 8am – 6pm. Monday to Friday. We do our best to keep you as informed as possible. 
  • We do not send Fully Built chairs, or install furniture anywhere other than UK Mainland. 

 

Refusing/cancelling an order

  • If you refuse an item on arrival due to change of mind and or mistake, you will be charged a fee to have the item returned and or resent - price dependant on product and location.
  • If you cancel an item after it has been dispatched you will be charged a return fee – price dependent on product and location.
  • Deliveries are attempted at least once, deliveries that fail after this due to no one at the delivery address may incur a fee to re-deliver.

 

Items arriving Damaged: Unfortunately, this is rare but it can happen.

Damaged Chairs:

  • If you are having a flatpack boxed chair delivered, and the box looks damaged, please SIGN AS DAMAGED BUT ACCEPT THE DELIVERY. It is much faster and easier to send you replacement parts than a whole chair. 
  • If you are unsure about the item please sign as “unchecked” or signed as “damaged”, then check the contents before building. 
  • In the unlikely case your item arrives damaged we need to be notified within 24 hours of delivery and require photographic evidence within 2 days of the item arriving. We can then sort out a replacement part(s) to be dispatched. Please email photos to sales@atlantisoffice.com. Photos must contain the damaged item and also the damaged to any packaging. This process is so we can follow up claims with the courier's insurance.
  • If you have paid to have the chair delivered assembled and something is not working (i.e a gas lift) we will only send a part for you to replace, labour beyond the original build is not covered. 

Damaged Furniture:

  • If you are having flatpack furniture delivered, and the item looks damaged, please SIGN AS DAMAGED BUT ACCEPT THE DELIVERY. It is much faster and easier to send you replacement parts than a whole piece of furniture. 
  • If you are unsure about the item please sign as “unchecked” or signed as “damaged”, then check the contents before building. 
  • In the unlikely case, your item arrives damaged we need to be notified within 24 hours of delivery and require photographic evidence within 2 days of the item arriving. We can then sort out a replacement part(s) to be dispatched. Please email photos to sales@atlantisoffice.com. Photos must contain the damaged item and also the damaged to any packaging.   • If you have had a piece of furniture installed, you need to completely check it over before signing you are happy, any damaged after you have signed this off will not be covered. 

Returns policy: (General Return Rules) 

 

Chairs & Seating

  • An item can only be returned if it is within 7 days on delivery of goods. 
  • If an item is being returned due to change of mind you must have the full packaging that the item was received in. The item must be unused and must be returned in it’s original packaging as received. We cannot accept items as returns if you have disposed of the original packaging. We will always arrange a courier but the cost returning the item will be taken from your refunded amount, this includes any re-stocking fees. I.e If the item is £100 and the fees are £20 you will receive a refund of £80. 
  • If an item arrived damaged or faulty we will send replacement parts for you. If you noticed manufacturer damage upon receipt of goods and want to return, the item needs to be packaged as received and ourselves notified so we can arrange collection. 
  • We will not accept an item returned for damaged out of the 7 day return period. We can provide parts but not a return.
  • If you choose to have your item delivered fully assembled then decide to return this item, the cost of the assembly charge will not be refunded.

Desks & Furniture

  • An item can only be returned if it is within 7 days on delivery of goods. 
  • If an item is being returned due to change of mind you must have the full packaging that the item was received in.   • Once a piece of furniture has been assembled we cannot accept these as a return. 

Bespoke Products

  • Bespoke and Customer Upholstered / Made to Order Chairs, Furniture or Seating cannot be cancelled or returned under any circumstances once the order has been paid.  
  • If in the highly unlikely event a bespoke item is damaged on arrival you must contact us within 24 hours for us to assist. We will either collect and replace or send parts - you cannot return any bespoke chair, furniture or seating for a refund. 
  • If you have an item custom-built or have a piece of furniture installed and are not happy please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Warranty Claims

All our products are manufactured to the highest quality, the vast majority in facilities in the Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom. A minimum of 1 year manufacture warranty is offered on all products, certain products come with more than 1 year. Please contact our sales team for further information on individual products. Atlantis Office does not physically hold stock, so any warranties are claimed via the manufacture. All products are warranted against manufacturing defects including moving parts. Upholstery and foam are not covered by general wear and tear. Atlantis Office reserves the right not to apply the warranty in cases of inappropriate use or when the product has been tampered with by a third party or interventions by non-authorized personnel.


For any failed parts, i.e a gas lift, arm, desk leg that needs replacing under warranty we will send you a replacement part, we will not replace an entire item. If you have paid for your item to be either delivered assembled or installed we will only send the replacement part, labour beyond the original build is not covered. 




Installation Returns

  • Furniture and or Seating which has been installed on-site cannot be cancelled, refunded or returned.
  • Any installation fees will not be refunded. 

 

Out of Stock:

  • If an item is out of stock, you will be contacted within 24 working hours to be offered either an alternative, full refund or to wait until the product comes back into stock.
